Default Regt De La Rey

Hi All,

I picked up this unusual one piece die stamped De la Rey blackened cap badge.
The lugs are similar to WWI GSWA badges but this Regt was only formed in 1934.
The detail is good on the inside, it looks rough in the photo possibly from blackening.

Any ideas? TIA

Iain

Very nice too, I would think it is just a wartime made variant.

Hi Frank,

I also thought it could be, but I've never seen any other WWII variants like this

regards, Iain
