Saddam badge
Hi, I wondered what this badge is, military or otherwise? It came on the beret but it may have been added for decoration, thanks in advance Mike

The badge appears to have something to do with the Fedayeen, the design appears to match that shown here.

Fedayeen Saddam
Fedayeen Saddam (Arabic: فدائيي صدام) was a paramilitary organization loyal to the Ba'athist Iraqi government of Saddam Hussein. The name was chosen to mean "Saddam's Men of Sacrifice". Hi Simon, Woofy and Mike, thank you for your input, gratefully received. It was very good of you all as it has intrigued me ever since the Iraq war. I'm slightly saddened as they, it appears, didn't have any armour, but, hey, you can't have everything, thanks again to you all and best wishes, Mike
