All look good to me, except for the 5th badge, it looks a little iffy on the stamping at the back.

I see what you mean about the fourth, not sure about the other (from a 'reputable source' some years back, sadly not off me Grandads Brodrick...) - was a bit concerned about the 'blackened' version.

The blackened one is not too clear in the picture. I don't collect VB badges at all, so I don't really have a reference for that one. I just think it looks good.

Well, Thanks anyway - I'd hoped for more comments.
Having just joined (and being retired, and having lots of time) have been reading through much of the forum material.
It seems, like many similar collecting hobbies, that not only do many fakes exist, but that folks take offence at being enlightened. I would rather know either way, than not, and try and learn what to look out for. It wouldn't surprise me now, if a third (or more !) of my 1000 plus (long-gone old) collection were duffers.
