Default Please help identify this cap badge

Hi,
New member here! My uncle was born in 1900 and this is a photo of him in what I assume to be his WW1 uniform. Can anyone identify the regiment he belonged to please?
many thanks
Kelvin

Hello Kelvin52, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
The badge appears to be a grenadier regiment, maybe the Grenadier Guards. Note the small grenade on the shoulder strap as well.

Appears to be the Royal Fusiliers. The shoulder title would be RF with the small grenade above as shown.

Looks like Royal Fusiliers to me also.

In addition, you can search WO363 and WO364 online using his name, as well as his family detail that you are aware of, it would certainly be worth while, if you are fortunate enough to find a match amongst extant papers and you will then as least know rather more than you do at the moment.

As said he’s in the Royal Fusiliers and if I’m correct wearing the early 1902 pattern tunic with the reinforced shoulder areas so taken early WW1??
