Speaking as the JUO in question I can assure you that the title was worn on BD and on No 2 Dress (at least in the period 1961-63). Cadet Sgt John Cooper (later Col RE) is modelling insignia on BD in same period. Mike

Default Austrian Knots, RMAS and UOTC rank slides

Cannot help much with approval documentation and dates but here are some images from JSP768 2010 plus an item tailor made for Service Dress or Battle Dress, measures 160x145 mm
