Default A NICE CAPE !!!!!

Hi Guys
I spent a while chatting to the original owner of this cape today she started it in 1944 while at a RN hospitail in plymouth as was despatch to germany arfter the war and moved around a bit untill 1953 got most of the lads in hospitial to do a patch for her during her time more pis to follow later . steve

That is a brilliant cape! well done that girl if each badge represents one patient (tip of the iceberg!) you could easily x 10/20 and still be way out on the number of people she,s helped! an ideal item to compare flashes against though, not any copies amonst this little beauty, thanks for showing it and look forward to more pictures if you post them cheers billy

Default The Cape.

A very good representative selection of (mainly) late 1940s, early 1950 signs and titles. The NCC slip-on and INDIAN ARMY titles are particularly nice, as are the two Canadian parachute wings. I had never seen the white on maroon COTC title before. Do you have other, close up images of the cape?

Much appreciated - VMT. The Second Pattern 24 Engr Gp (TA) sign is not exactly easy to find - Red rose of Lancashire and Stafford knot on blue rectangle.
