Default Victorian Livery button?

Hi all,

Does someone knows what for this regular size VC (livery?) button was used for? On the back there is a "Pitt & Co. 50 St. Martins Lane, London" on the back.

Thanking you in advance,

Timo

NFS is a Ww2 period button for the National Fire Service.

Cheers

Hello

First row, second button appears to be Christ's Hospital School, founded with the assistance of King Edward VI whose image appears on the button. Civilian button, not military.

Regards
Roger
