Hi Will,

a very nice, very impressive display, the leather is in perfect condition which sets the accouterments off perfectly; you can be proud.

regards,

Iain

Thanks Iain,

Over the years I have found a leather compound that maintains, shines and nourishes leather products and it makes a huge difference.

Regards,

Will

Hi William, I see that the horse in this picture faces the opposite way to the other. Do you have any photographs showing the horse facing forward as opposed to facing backwards? Regards Andrew

Hi William,
Took a closer look at your nursing display and the middle badge is a WWII item. These were issued c.1940 and replaced in 1944 with the nickle/white metal badges. This last issue had the cap badge on a brooch pin and facing collars on lugs. Prior to 1944 the SAMNS never wore collar badges.
