Wink Nice work . . !

I am intrigued by this lot currently on offer on ebay, it has seven bids and for the life of me I cannot see why it has reached this amount, obviously the vendor is very good at presenting his/her items which to my mind are 100% original and in very good order.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FULL-SET-WW1-E...item51912da752

Am I missing something?

There's only really been 2 bids, the originator up to £13.77 then a top off bid of 50p. Not excessive for a decent set of buttons.

Not missing something really, and you're right, practice at presention does go a long way.Never dismiss the power of the vagaries of eBay to suprise on certain occasions.I've found it's often better to suspend applying logical thought when 2 or more bidders want something.

Happy to sell a set of white metal general service buttons for that price.

Cool GS buttons

I think for that price I would have expected a pair of hat buttons as well, this would make a full set!

Maybe I undervalue my items, I have several tins of buttons in the store, some white metal QVC GS amongst them.
