Default New RN Photographers Trade Badge

I have just discovered that RN Photographers now have a new trade badge. I can honestly say it is the worst design I have ever seen - truly awful. Apparently they were first introduced in May 2018 but I haven't seen them until today.

I have attached a couple of images of examples so that everyone is aware.

Looks like a square peg / round hole situation.

Here's a picture of one of the RN's Photographers wearing the badge at the recent D-Day Commemoration in Portsmouth.

Isn't that the badge at the base of the sleeve?

Yes,you never see an RN Phot without his prescious backpack of camera equipment! I think they have them surgically grafted onto them ...
