Default Am I living in a dream world?

A badge bought on eBay, at first l thought looks like an embellished button, but on handling it its too heavy gauge to be a button and the flames have not been attached, a one piece badge.
Also notice makers mark to back.
My question is did the Loyal North Lancashire have a bombers badge, similar in style to the Liverpool Scottish? And if so could this be an example?
Cheers Tony.

Tony,

I have never heard of them having their own bombers badge like the 10th Kings but in this hobby, never say never.

Whose to say its not an ex 10th Kings bomber who transferred to the LNL's and wanted to wear a similar badge?

Looks like it could be an original piece.

regards

Thanks for your input Simon, as you say I too haven't heard of a specific badge, and I've found nothing my internet searches.
Cheers Tony.

I was watching that badge on eBay and discussing it with a friend. He seemed to think similar badges had been sold at Bosley’s but couldn’t recall what the were sold as per se.

Perhaps it’s worth digging through some old catalogues?

Whatever it is I suspect you got a bargain, well done.

Thanks Luke, an interesting talking point.
If anyone has any old Bosley catalogues and hours to spare I would be grateful
Cheers Tony.

If I had them Tony, I’d happily spend hours looking through all that badge porn!

Hi Tony,
You can put an enquiry on this website www.loyalregiment.com they have a good grasp of all things Loyals.
I had a brief look at some of the photos on there myself but couldn’t ID anything similar.
Great to see you today and sorry we couldn’t help more with the badge which we liked and it came up well in comparison to the Lpool Scottish Bombers badge.
Paul
