Default Gordon Hldrs. Pagri flash

Does anyone know what the Gordons Pagri flash was, circa ww1 and between the wars for the FS helmet? I am assuming it was the tartan, and if so, what shape was it?
Thanks much,

CB

In the 1980s the late John Mollo wrote a detailed and comprehensive series of articles entitled Khaki Foreign Service Helmet Embellishments, 1920-1940 for The Formation Sign Journal of the Military Heraldry Society.

In the issue of July 1988 he noted under Gordon Highlanders that The Regiment does not seem to have worn any sort of helmet embellishment.

Thanks for that Jon,
No wonder I could not seem to find any info, if nothing was worn. Very odd that they did not.
I would surely like to get a hold of Mollo's work on this subject!
