Default C.L.C. badge

I'm spending a very relaxing Sunday afternoon going through my badges and I thought I'd share this one. I haven't seen very many of these posted. I beleive it's a WW1 CEF badge to the Canadian Labor Corp. It's a very flimsy badge with tang attachments on the back. I know it's flimsy as I broke one of the tangs removing it from the board it was on initially. Any other info on this badge would be appreciated. Thanks.

Default Several opinions...

This badge has raised questions for several years. I think Ed Denby auctioned one many years ago. Several suggestions have been made as to the provenance of the badge. One idea is that it was for Chinese labourers in the BEF or CEF.
Jim, any chance of an image of the fasteners?

Bill here's the back... it should have had 4 blades... one was missing when I got the badge and I broke the other off... I still have the blade. No maker marks.

The only reference I've ever seen for this badge was in the Charleton's C.E.F. corps guide. I'm hoping it's C.E.F. and not a train badge... (nothing against train collectors). Any other opinions out there?... Paul from Irma?
