'Military Jewellery'
I thought members might be interested to see this lovely old advertisement I came across in a 1918 edition of 'The Dagger':
Military Jewellery.jpg If anyone has an example of this company's work amongst their collections, I'd be grateful for a picture or two. Regards, Peter |

They also made officer's badges marked: "G & S Co", or "THE G&S Co".

The only item I have to the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company is the large ( 7" x 6 1/2" ) hall marked silver Bandmasters music stand badge to the Kings Liverpools.Obviously a one off commission.

Gentlemen,
Many thanks for your replies; very much appreciated. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter, That is some badge, mate. If you're only going to have one by this manufacturer, then that isn't a bad one to have, is it? Thanks again, PJ |
