I found this post card at Stoneleigh last weekend, I'm thinking National Fire Service?

Earlier - the armlet reveals it is 1940-41 AFS.

I'm not sure we have a match, the white bands don't appear to go all the way around on the above image, in fact they may be seperate white tabs on a dark square?

Thanks Jon , it's possible that the 1938 photo shows the 'original design' for the uniform/armlet and the one actually produced was slightly different.
