William Warren - Royal Engineers 25 Field Coy.
I'm looking for any information on the above Sapper. His full name is William Frederick Warren - Company Quartermaster Sergt RE 25 Field Coy. Died on 13 Sept 1942 - ( almost certainly from a disease - he was in an isolation hospital)
I don't know when he joined up - but given he was the Coy QM Sergt - I'm assuming that he would have joined up before 1939? ( or is that a false assumption? ) - Also can anyone tell me anything about 25 Field Coy ? I've treid public records with little success. Tim |

His name comes up on the Canadian Virtual War Memorial website and he is "Commemorated on Page 122 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance."

Mike - as he was the Coy QM Segt - when he died in 1942 - I assume he would have been with the Coy for sometime before the war?
