Default A Cannon in a wreath
Is it possible that the membership can shed any light on this brass badge? The wreath is one and three quater inches.

There is a vague bell going off in my head that it is 19th Century Australian militia or state troops - but the website I think I saw it on has sadly died in recent months.

Thank you. I had a notion I had seen it under an Australian heading, but, can not find it.
