Long shot need ID officer London Scottish - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

Don't laugh. I am hoping someone can help me out.
1915 Hall marked Birmingham London Scottish.
On back is scratched "Jimmy 1919 MC"
I have wondered if MC is Military Cross, or simply the start of Roman numerals for 1919 and the writer decided to switch to 1919 instead.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I understand only a couple Battalions in W×1 London Scottish, so hopefully somebody has an idea on who owned this badge.

Hi,
I read there were 60 London Scottish recipients of the Military Cross in WW1.

This link may be helpful in identifying an officer or WO of The London Scottish named "Jimmy" who was awarded the Military Cross in 1919 (if that's what the inscription on the badge means).
