I am not happy with this badge as it has the honeycomb hexagonal backing to the lettering in some places that I always associate with fakes but the lugs look good with yellow brazing fluid not usually found on fakes? Is the honeycomb backing 100% sign of fake? Denis.

I don't like the tiger's face, doesn't look like any tigers I have seen on badges.
Cheers,
Alex

I think the tigers feet/ legs should be cut out better than that.

Thanks for your comments and yes it will be going back. I am also even more concerned by the honeycomb style backing to the writing as I have never seen a genuine badge with it but am open to opinions on this? Denis

Appears to be from the same die as the repro 1st V.B. Hampshire badges. As you suggested, one to return.
