Question RWF "Heavy" Fus "Badge"

Kevin,
Apologies, my Brecon (1958-62) school Welsh has all gone, dioch an wau etc... The mark appears to be a copyright symbol - buts its really difficult to be sure and it could just be a manufacturers symbol + MM. Can' figure out whether this is good or bad...

Rgds, David (or di wright as it was)

Definitely a modern badge and I think probably the badge worn by both the bandmaster (a warrant officer) and the Drum Major (a SNCO) in their bearskins, rather than an officers badge that would have been worn by a Director of Music. The remainder of the band and drums wore a sealskin cap, which was smaller.

I recall seeing this whilst serving with RWF from 1972 to 1984.

I bow to Toby on this one and would gladly follow his opinion.
I have a Victorian Fur cap to a senior Volunteer NCO and the grenade follows the usual construction as posted under the RWF thread.
Cofion,
Kevin

Arrived to day and very pleased to find this thread for a positive id on it. It is a really quite heavy badge and well made, it seems to be cast with the PofW feathers a separate piece, the mark on the back is ©MM.
