Default South Wales Borderers AA by Dowler

a recent buy from ebay, it looks to be the correct original badge by DOWLER. BIRMINGHAM in Staybrite.

I have two of the collector copies to compare it against you really can see the differences in the face on the front and the obviously blank reverse on the dowler.

Thanks William.

Mike, I have spent years looking at these, and I knew Dowler Birmingham was the one to get, I got lucky finding one for a price I liked.

The Dowler one is the one thats on the standard pattern card that is held by the IWM. Approved 8/4/1964.
I looked further down the IWM search list. The anodised "XXIV"collars are held too, dated 1965 . A note to the card ,also for 2nd Btn Monmouthshire Regt TA.
