WW II Commando Shoulder Cords/Lanyards

Where might I find information on the shoulder cord/lanyard colors worn by the Commandos during WW II? This includes the Royal Marine Commandos. Thank you.

In fairness the book is a bit limited, but reasonably priced. There is little information on Commando Lanyards for WW2 anywhere. After a lot of research, I find many conclusions are speculative, not based on sound evidence. No.4 did wear a red and gold lanyard early on, but not of the construction portrayed - it was of a plaited type. The No.2 Cdo lanyard - white and black - is more accurately portrayed. I believe No.9 wore a plaited black one - However, wear does not appear universal. One book describes No.11 Cdo as a green / khaki colour - but I have not found much supporting evidence and tend to think it was not general practice.
