Default Loyal North Lancs

Out of the sea of restrikes I knowingly bought, I am just checking if any are good. This badges has the hairpin slider, although in an unusual position. Font looks ok I think? Once again any help either way greatly appreciated..

A very nice example of the hair pin slider with reinforcement on top. I believe this particular fitting was unique to this badge.

Indeed, but the point of the "hairpin slider" was to reinforce the weak point where the crown joins the rose. I have come across this error on badges manufactured by "Lambourne", but I suspect that the badge in the opening post could be what is sometimes referred to as a "Friday afternoon badge".
