HM Customs, Commonwealth Naval?
Hi All,
Can anybody ID this one, please? It's on a Royal Navy officers (style) cap. I've attached a picture of the label inside the cap too. The images are the ebay sellers. Thanks, Phil

The defaced ensign depicted in the badge was used by HM Revenue & Customs 1873-1949, and has also been used by the Royal Burnham Yacht Club since 1928.

Thank you, Arthur, I think Customs is the most likely candidate of the two, hopefully I will be able to confirm it somehow.

Unlikely to be customs if they used the ensign until 1949. Your badge has a Queen's Crown.

It's a very similar badge to the Royal Maritime Auxilary Service, does anybody know if it could be somehow connected to them?
