Default 69 (NIH) Sig Sqn (V)

Dear Blackie, Marc, John and all.

As this thread has progressed I have promised I would put in my little web site the latest information I had from the Squadron as to what it was called and who told me.

I am therefore delighted to say that I have now updated my little web site with the addition in the UK section of what I believe to be at the time of printing the definative answer to the query.

Blackie, Many thanks for the photo in No2 Dress of the caubeen with Signals badge and the North Irish Horse collars.

I make not apologise at the present time to those members of the Forum who still call the Squadron 40 (NIH) Sig Sqn (V). Only the Brigdier in charge of 2 (NC) Sig Bde can do that. Until I see officially in MOD speak will I change my little web site.

Hope I have done the correct thing. No doubt I will be told otherwise by my elders and betters. They will have to be quite old to be an elder !!!!

Many thanks to all who have assisted me with this little or now even large Thread.

Best wishes

Chris Walker
