Default REME Air Transport wings

I recently found these British REME Air Transport wings, in Canada of all places.

I tried to find out more about them but my research only came up with the Air Dispatch wings. Can anyone provide more info on these wings.
Would these be worn on the left side of the battle dress?

Mike

Theyre airframe technician wings. Also found in gold anodised ( very rare ) and in bullion. Worn by REME air techs ,usually attached to Army Air Corps units.

From my book.

Jon

After responsibility for servicing Army Air Corps aircraft was transferred from the RAF on 1st April 1958 the importance of the REME mechanics maintaining the AAC’s airframes, engines, electrics and instruments was recognised, their hammer and pincers badge replaced in May 1959 by that of the REME Aircraft Technician, its winged design reinforcing the flying connection. Authorised by the War Office Dress Committee on 7th May 1959.

Gents, the anodised REME AT wings are indeed very scarce.
I was very lucky at a fair once . . .
