Question ROYAL ENGINEER Pagri badge?

Jerry, are not the stripes vertical on Royal Engineer Pagri badges?

They are vertical in every example or photo I have seen. The grenade looks to be a small Fusilier collar or ST, not what I would associate with the RE. Rather small for a Pagri flash as well, whatever it is. That said, when it comes to Pagri flashes, relatively little is really known and anomalies come with the territory, so to speak.

Thanks to all for your replies to my question.
I have passed your comments onto the owner of the patch.
Regards Jerry.

Well, there we have it. They did use fusilier grenades for this purpose. I would guess that the flash in question has just had the grenade mistakenly applied horizontally.
