Default RCCS went to the birds?

From CMHQ report 168:

148. Pigeon detachments, which had been included in the proposed composition
of the Canadian Army throughout 1942 and 1943, were dropped early in 1944 as
such units were no longer to be included below Army Group (C.M.H.Q. file
1/Cdn Army/1/4; A./G.O.C.-in-C., First Cdn Army to Chief of Staff, C.M.H.Q.,
29 Dec 43).

So, Larry, any broad arrow C pidgeon feed in the collection?
