From what you've shown it looks OK to me though I would welcome comment from members who are more au fait with BD uniforms. A rare use of the red on blue Essex title with the separate ACF and RA cloth titles.
Any chance there was an owner's name in it? That might help pin down which of the Essex Cadet Regiments it was. The commando trained badge indicates prior service (very usual for post war ACF adult staff) and given that I'd expect a medal ribbon too, do you know if there was one? The other badge I do not recognise - can anyone confirm what that one is?
