Default Covered before? Overlaid South Africa Middlesex.

I'm sure this one has been covered before, a Middlesex Regiment with 'ALBUHERA' scroll brazed over the original 'South Africa' title.
A way of using up redundant stock by manufacturer?
Tony.

I would agree. Either reuse of an old die part or using up old brass stampings.

Thanks Alan and Gerard, another badge that may fall into this category, would this Leistershires be a makers variant or, the conversion of an obsolete badge?
Tony.
