yes a modern copy and the unit write up is also BS. The Sacred Squadron "award" not badge was issued for the battle of El Alamien were the squadron served with NZ divisional cavalry in jeeps. All Greek units that too place in the battle got the award. More a medal than a badge and technically nothing to do with SF.

as about the Rimini badge, I have seen some with two holes (one left, one right), with four holes (two left, two right), moving pin at the back and two bended pins at the back as well. Is there any guideline for that badge as well?

I have one ex veteran. No holes.

Mine has crudely soldered lugs. I understand they have bendable copper wire which broke and then was usually modified in some way - holes for sewing seems common.

Not an original struck badge. It is sand cast by the looks of it. Depending on colour and size I would be happy with it.
