Default 18th Hussars HM silver collars

Was fortunate to secure these off "ePay" for a small outlay here in the States, where badges are usually grossly undervalued.
By J&Co hallmarked 1917. Actually much brighter silver than the photos suggest. Absolutely superb quality!

Lovely items. Unfortunately the postage rates and customs surcharges have stopped me buying anything from anywhere other than the U.K. or Europe these days.

More or less the same situation for me now, particularly with this Covid thing; although the exchange rate is not to bad lately for me. Not much really good stuff shows up here, but when it does, they are usually a tiny fraction compared to UK dealer prices.
The 18th H at this time (along with the other cavalry) must have been very small relative the infantry and all their battalions.
