My brother was Officer In Charge of the Parachuting Bear when he was an instructor at Sandhurst. It's a very responsible job apparently. He was interviewed for a Teddy Bear Collectors magazine and photographed with said bear. It's incredibly heavy so when it jumps it doesn't get too badly affected by wind and during brothers tenure a replacement was located and acquired in a nice DPM para smock (not sure what happens now everybody has MTP smocks?). The bear also wears a unique DZ flash in the colours of RMAS. I tried and failed miserably to get my hands on one.
