Default Please help South African Police

I wonder if you can help identifying this badge. It is the same size and has the same wreath as the old (up to 1995) SAP WO badge. My thoughts are:

1) Original WO badge or
2) Old WO2 badge (with the later one being WO1) or
3) Senior instructor at an SAP collage or
4) Head musician or other specialist badge.

Best wishes from the winelands,
Neville Kemp

The head musician badge has HM on. I have a standard and mess dress of these in my collection. I have never seen this badge before. Best of luck. Regards Andrew

I see that SAA used this version of the coat of arms in their badges.

Default SAP Badge

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the comments. I have managed to identify the badge as the warrant officer badge for the SAP Municipal Police, now obsolete. In the early 1990`s, they fully integrated into the SAP.
