Default Windsor Regiment / Ontario Regt

The Windsor Regiment titles are all post war. The black embroidery on yellow, without the "THE" above, is, from my understanding, the earlier of the two battledress patterns the unit acquired. The other pattern has "THE" on a separate line above the Windsor Regiment, again above Canada, and it was purchased later. There is another variety of the WINDSOR REGIMENT / CANADA without the substantial material border, but I have no further information about it. It has a black light weight cotton backing over the entire flash, without the embroidery going through the backing.
The Windsor Regiment title at the top of the same image is the CF DEU long style title, issued in the 1980's.
In the ONTARIO REGIMENT image, the titles at the top (the canvas and the reverse of the embroidered title) are WW2 issues. The 1 CAB lozenges are also WW2 issue. There is some controversy about the 11 RCAC lozenge. The "Royal" prefix was not granted until the summer of 1945, by which time the formation was stood down or was in the process of being stood down. Why that formation patch exists is a mystery.
The blue base embroidered title with "CANADA / THE ONTARIO REGT" is a post war example. The two titles below it on the top left of the image are the CF titles, one for the DEU and an order of dress called workdress. The "bright gold" titles were issued for DEU, and "dull gold" were for workdress. Again, these were issued starting in the 1980's through the 1990's.
What is the obverse of the Ontario title on the bottom left of that image?

The image of the back of the Elgin Regiment title shows it to be a cadet rayon issue. These manufactured titles were picked up by some militia units to wear on the garrison dress uniform.
The Regiment Trois Rivieres and the South Alberta Light Horse are both post war battledress titles. The battledress uniform was replaced starting in the late 60's by the CF greens. At that time, regimental titles were not to be taken into use with the greens. The Trois Rivieres is a late manufacture title, as can be determined by the black nylon or synthetic material backing.

The 6th, 7th, and 8th Divisions were all diagonally split, using the colours of the overseas divisions. The method of wear is to put the senior division's colours on the leading edge as viewed. So, if for this patch, the red edge should be towards the front of the tunic on both sides, and the blue edge towards the back.
(Buy the second edition of Distinguishing Patches when Clive Law gets it out this fall. Shameless plug.)
