Talking RNAS badge
I always thought this pattern of badge were reproduction, not so according to the Seller who informed me “this badge was passed to me by a veteran who's grandfather served with the RNAS in Belgium in October 1914 and managed to get out during the retreat to Ypres.”
So now I know.

A good fake example. Even if the 'veteran' passed the badge on, there was nothing stopping him from passing on a fake badge... and at 99 pence, the seller is a story teller...
