Victorian Canadian Collar?
This came in with a group of odds and sods I bought. I assumed it was WW2 but noticed a Gaunt tablet on the reverse. I looked closer at the front and it appears to be a Victorian crown. Would this have been worn by Canadian troops or maybe TR C M P??. Any help or comments appreciated.

Hi John. This is the qvc collar badge of the general list badge. It was worn by personnel who had no authorized regimental or corps insignia. There are examples of it in wear during the First World War.

Thanks Bill, presumably made pre 1901, then issued until stocks ran out up to WW1.

Hi John, yes that is likely.
