Could you please help me to know if this cap badge, bought 20 years ago, is genuine or not?

Not an original badge. It is from the die discussed in this thread and exhibits the commensurate flaws associated with the repros:

Also note the large footed loops also on your badge, not period in my belief. Someone has removed the crown to simulate a Free French Paras and enhance its desirability and value.
