Default 2ND SOUTH CANTERBURY REGIMENT

Hi all

Could anyone tell me what a 2nd South Canterbury Regiment cap badge would normally sell for?
I've been offered one for £30, but have no idea what these badges normally fetch?

Thanks in advance

Colin

Hi Colin,
This badge catalogued as NZ$20.00, about £10.00.
Cheers, Tinto

Thanks Tinto

It's way out of my collecting area, so have no ground for comparison.
£10 seems kind of cheap, though? Or are these very common?

Colin

Hi Colin,
I'd say these badges are relatively easy to obtain ie. common but not very common, if you know what I mean.
Cheers, Tinto

Thanks guys!

The one I've been offered is the same as this one (shown in an earlier thread)
It has the Gaunt tablet on upper rear arm. That would make it more collectable, I guess?

Hi Colin,
Gaunt badges are usually of better quality. The one you have shown looks as if it has some polish wear to the kiwi.
