Default TAVR Buttons

Would any member have a list of the "non-regular" inc OTC units
that used anodised buttons. I have Ripleys book for the Yeomanry
and buttons of the british army list some of the TAVR infantry etc
But does any member have a complete listing. Happy for anyone to PM
me if they would find it easier.

Thanks

Gordon

Default OTC buttons

A very old article in the (British) Military Historical Society lists OTC buttons.
Regrets I do not know the year it was published, nor do I have a readable copy.

MHS Bulletin No 105 of August 1976 is the one I think Btns is thinking of, it illustrates 93 OTC buttons not all anodised.

The best source of information may be a series of articles on Anodised Buttons and Badges by Walter Lambert in the Crown Imperial magazine around 1996

Turntostone,
If you will send me a PM with your E mail address I will scan and send you copies of the articles from Crown Imperial over the next week or so.

Good evening. Just read you message. I am also interested in this subject matter. OTC units are not included on this list, however, TA and VOL units are.
Should you like to get a list of mine please let me know.

Daniel
PS I have some spare buttons
