Default Forester Brigade Officer's Beret Dated 1954 (R Warks Regt attached. R Leicesters Regt

Provenance to an officer who served 1948 - 60's in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, (also served on attachment to1st Bn Royal Leicestershire Regiment as a Company Commander).
The beret is a Kangol dated 1953 with leather band and cloth badge slider pocket.
The bullion badge is Embroidered on green cloth which is shaped to it's outline and is positioned so that if the beret is worn with the ribbon bow central at the back of the head, the badge is central at the front.

Edit - typo - beret is 1953 dated, not 1954.

Yes, it's an attractive item.
I have the same officers field officers forage cap.
Dating from the 1950's it originally had the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and / or Forester Brigade badges fitted, followed by the Fusilier Brigade / RRF badge.
