Very nice title; I must admit I have been tempted by the A1 title for many years as I have a relative who served with the 9th in the early 1900s for 3 years. Curiously he refused to serve when he was called up for service in WW1 and successfully challenged his call to arms. He spent time in Barlinnie and Wakefield jail before serving in a shale quarry near Edinburgh. Tragically he was crushed to death there in 1918. What I find intriguing is the Birmingham stamped Gaunt mark. Nevertheless a very rare and desirable title!
