Made by LB&BCo .... ORs QRL. Is it "bronzed" in the back ?

Hi Griff, Thanks for your fast reply. Yes it does look like bronze on the back to me as well.
Have you any idea of the date of this: MOTTO for my reference.

Thanks again, Mick

Its a modern QRL operations motto, made by LB&BCo (unmarked). The face of it has been cleaned of its bronzed coat by the looks of it..... a combination of sand blasting probably and cleaning.

The way I would clean this one is just some warm water, soap and a toothbrush. A buff with a kitchen towel afterwards. its not meant to be polished.

Thanks for your information griff, I got this MOTTO from my local flea market just as you see it now for: £5.00 and I just liked the look of it.

Thanks again, Mick

The "Firmin & Sons" MMd Bronzed Motto would certainly be 17th/21st Lancers and carried over into the QRL.
