Default 6th Armd Div

Hi

A recent find. Interesting mounting.

Seller thought that he may have a match somewhere. Waiting for a reply now.

Would this have come as a pair?

regards
Darrell

Default 6 Armoured Div.

When worn towards the end of W@ it would have been in pairs. Post-war the regulations changed so that only one FS was worn. As a broached badge I suspect this is wartime, and to find a matching pair would be good.

Stephen.

PS- always wondered about the spelling of brooched/ broached. You wear a brooch, but a boat is broached, yet 'brooched' cannot be found by a spellchecker!

Default 6 Armd Div

I don't know about facing pairs, but how did a Guardsman (of all people) get away with this arrangement on his BD? Definitely "Idle!"

Hi

Thank you for that, Gentlemen. I appreciate your responses.
