Hello,
I'm certain there has been comment on this forum previously about this book, that it is a copy of another book. Given the abundance of fakes on the market it is possible that you need something with clearer photographs of badges. Regards, Keith |

It is a photocopy of Military Badge Collecting by John Gaylor
The book is available on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Military-Ba.../dp/0850527589 Tim

I would strongly suggest if you buy a copy of Gaylor that you do not choose a later edition ‘edited’ by Peter Taylor as he re-photographed the plates and included numerous fake badges.
My suggestion is buy a 1st or 2nd edition. They pop up on all the usual online secondhand bookstores and eBay for less than the price of the booklet you found on eBay. If you are looking to start collecting badges then Gaylor in my opinion is an excellent first book. Beware however of the double scroll 19th Hussars pagri badge - it’s a fake he had made! |

Reported several times to ebay including full title and author. Got robotic reply saying `they take things seriously` but still peddling the photocopies. On this listing alone it says he has sold 400 copies @ £12.99 + postage! And they get away with it!!!!!!!!!!
