Default Royal Naval Dockyard Police - Cap Badge

Could anyone please advise me of the details of the cap badge worn by the RNDP ?
And was this identical to that worn by members of the Hong Kong Dockyard Defence Corps ?

My Thanks

I believe that they wore a Royal Marines globe and laurel in white metal. The same design as the collar badge. I have seen one with a slider that was definitely a cap badge and several with lugs that could have been collars. I have no idea what the HK wore.

The ROYAL MARINE POLICE & ROYAL MARINE POLICE (Special Reserve) only served in the UK.

In response to your query re HK Naval Dockyard Police insignia. Other ranks all wore the standard Admiralty Overseas Police cap badge depending in which era. Your period in question would have been the Kings Crown version this was also worn by other Dockyard forces such as Singapore , Bermuda etc.
The rear had different fixings on to comply with whichever head gear was worn. Officers would normally wear the white metal Kings Crown only.
Please find attached image of Cap badge worn and the white metal shoulder title worn in Hong Kong. I have also attached an image of Admiralty Police Officer II (Buck Taylor) when in Hong Kong showing the KC badge and khaki cover on his hat.
Hope this will be of some use.
