Default RA or HAC?

This apparently, is one 'Alf Martin' in 1908:

Alf Martin 1908.jpg

I am afraid my knowledge of uniforms from this era is pretty poor, so I am wondering if anyone can please tell me if Alf is with The Royal Artillery, or HAC?

The image os his cap badge is just not good enough for me to see clearly, so hopefully his uniform will pin his unit down.

With thanks,

Peter

Default RHA

Its is RHA as HAC had a 3 colour band on the cap as well as different frogging on the jacket.

Three bands it is Colin, but two colours - red, blue, red.
I guess we all knew what you meant anyway.

Regards,

john

Thanks gents.

With all due respect to the Artillery, I would have loved this to have been HAC - would have been a great addition to one of my London albums.

Thanks again,

PJ

It all worked out for the best in the end, John, because I got a job on the submarines...

...as a window cleaner! .

I am sorry to say, Phil, that I was not. What John is referring to is my rather clumsy attempt at humour in post #9 here:
