Default RM green beret-1944?

Hi Guys,
Save your money on this beret now on eBay. At first glance it looks good with the original badge and the correct rivets, but there are a couple of red flags that show it is not 1944!
The seller does say that they can't say for sure that it is ww2, but it is listed as 'WW2 from 1944' which is misleading.

Regards
Irv

It's L for 1953! The machine stitched loops are the clear give away.

The fequently bought together suggestions are nice though.

I suspect you would merely be buying the bra excluding the contents, unless of course, you refer to the 1944 toll roll, which appears not to have it's original contents?

I'm convinced it is Alan or James Goldsmith from Stanstead aka vongold or bobandfredsbits. He no longer seems to use his other accounts 1967goldie, henrys-house, jobrown1001 and fredsloft.

They have seen that good prices are being achieved and just jump onto the band wagon!
This is fakery! And the comment ‘I’m no expert, make up your own mind’ is outrageous! Conning unknowlegable new collectors, shame on them

I hope none of our members get fooled.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Same seller Irv refers too on the OP has been selling a lot of fake militaria of late.
Pretty shocking what the attached sold for a month or so ago.
He is a medal dealer so probably doesn’t care or thinks he can get away with acting ignorant toward this area of collecting
