Hi jack
These have been up before. Can't find the thread at the moment.
I don't like them. I'm not saying there duds but I don't believe they were ever officially worn by the armed forces.
I remember about 20 years ago these all started to come onto the market. From memory Noble's had bags of them (100s) for sale in an auction. Up until then, no one had seen them before. I will try and find the Noble's description but from memory they weren't sure either what they were.
Interested to hear the others thoughts.

Very interesting , Well I will go all out and say these are far too well made to be a film prop the rear alone with all that work should prove this ? If im wrong I will apologise - they just look old !
