Default 63rd Gurkha Brigade

The picture shows a 1949 pattern BD badged to The Queen's Surreys with the Home Counties Brigade sign on one arm and a wire embroidered 63rd Gurkha Brigade sign on the other. There is a GSM ribbon on the chest.

The 1st Battalion served in Malaya from March 1954 to April 1956 but can anyone confirm from a regimental history that the Bn served with the 63rd Gurkha Brigade?

Jon
